They can help you reach your fitness goals such as improving strength, losing weight, or improving your cardiovascular endurance.  You can also work with a trainer in conjunction with your physical therapy to maximize your rehabilitation.

Mike Caravella, CSCS, NASM-CPT


Mike is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine in Personal Training. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in studying Pre-Clinical Health Science and Health Services Administration.


Mike is a former collegiate athlete and lifelong fitness enthusiast who explores most sports, diets, and workout routines. He subscribes to the latest research and incorporates these approaches into his programming, working individually with clients of all ages and of all goals. Mike plans to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree to further his pursuit in creating a healthier world.


Mike spends his recreational time during the day outdoors hiking or playing sports, and indoors at a cinema or restaurant by night.

Susie Powell, ACSM-CPT


Susie is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer. She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science from Cedarville University with an internship concentration in cardiac and pulmonary rehab, stroke rehab, cancer wellness and weight management. A collegiate athlete, Susie competed in Track & Field, nationally qualifying in the polevault and sprint relays. She worked as a Master Trainer in Washington D.C. since 2014 before moving to Los Angeles, where she is working towards becoming a Physician’s Assistant.


Susie has been training for 6 years and enjoys the challenge of working with many different kinds of exercisers, from beginners to college level athletes, to special populations and special needs. She uses a mindful approach, considering the person’s injuries, conditions and limitations, tailoring each experience to empower the patient with an efficient and effective plan. Her goal is to make sure patients not only achieve their short-term goals but also be educated, self-sufficient, and consistent exercisers for life.


In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, surfing or simply exploring the city with her mini goldendoodle, Bailey.
